Muath Almarzooqi is a experienced professional in the field of rotating equipment, with over 13
years of experience in the industry. Currently serving as Rotating Equipment Section Leader at
ADNOC GAS (Habshan-5 site), Muath Almarzooqi has been instrumental in driving innovation
and efficiency in the design, maintenance, and operation of rotating machinery.
Throughout his career, Muath Almarzooqi has worked on a wide range of projects, from small-
scale installations to large industrial applications, demonstrating a deep understanding of the
complexities and challenges associated with rotating equipment. His expertise spans various
types of machinery, including pumps, Gearbox, compressors, Steam turbines, Gas turbines,
Muath Almarzooqi holds a Bachler Degree in Mechanical Science from Petroleum Institute (Abu
Dhabi) and master’s in business administration (MBA) from Al Ain university (Abu Dhabi) and
has continued to expand his knowledge through ongoing professional development and
certifications. He participated in ADIPEC presenting centralized analytics and diagnostic system
as first AI tool support decision making in extending equipment’s lifetime and predict failure in

At the RoTIC Symposium 2025, Muath Almarzooqi will be sharing insights on “Improve
chiller unit performance in Gas processing plant results in reduce energy consumption
