Massimo Buzzaccaro is a seasoned turbomachinery engineer at Voith Turbo in Germany, with over
35 years of experience in turbomachinery control and safety.
He holds a degree in electrical engineering and has led instrumentation and control (I&C)
engineering teams at leading OEMs, including Sulzer, MAN Diesel & Turbo, and ABB.
Massimo is certified in functional safety by TÜV Rheinland, TÜV SÜD, and other authorities.
He is also an ATEX and IECEx inspector, as well as a TÜV-certified cybersecurity engineer.
His current responsibilities span steam turbines and Turbocompressor, with a strong focus on
retrofitting and recertifying heritage machinery. Massimo combines technical depth with regulatory
expertise, making him a trusted expert in the field of high-performance rotating equipment.
