Senior Maintenance Engineer
Mr. Haitham H. Albaqami, a seasoned mechanical engineer based in Khobar City, Eastern Province,
Saudi Arabia, has nearly Ten years of experience in the refining and petrochemical industries.
Currently, he serves as a Sr. Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) in the Maintenance Department of
SATORP (Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company), where he specializes in
reliability engineering for both static and rotating equipment. Mr. Albaqami is adept at implementing
reliability principles such as Risk-Based Maintenance (RBM) and Root Cause Failure Analysis
(RCFA), enhancing equipment reliability and maintenance strategies.
He holds a Master’s in Engineering Management from King Fahad University of Petroleum and
Minerals, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Refining and Petrochemicals from IFP School in France, a
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo, USA, and an Associate
degree in Chemical Engineering Technology form Yanbu Industrial College in Saudi. His diverse
experience includes roles in project management, quality assurance, and maintenance at prominent
organizations like Saudi Aramco and YANSAB/SABIC. A member of the Saudi Council of Engineers
and a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional, Mr. Albaqami is recognized for his strong
interpersonal skills, technical expertise, and commitment to safety and operational excellence. Fluent
in Arabic and English, he is driven to continue creating value-adding solutions in the energy sector.
