Georges EL MIR is Schneider Electric’s Senior Vice President for Industrial Automation/Process Automation in the Middle East and Africa region. Schneider Electric supports industries across the region with their digital transformation journey to deliver efficiency and sustainability.
Prior to this, Georges was leading the Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals segment in the Middle East and Africa zone focusing on delivering best in class digital solutions and software in energy management and industrial automation to reduce costs and improve performance in the industry.
Georges has also served as the Country President for Schneider Electric International with operations covering West and Central Africa and the islands, across the different businesses of Schneider Electric.
Previously Georges held several roles within Schneider Electric spanning across business development for the company’s Global Operations and strategic accounts management.
EL MIR joined Schneider Electric in 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering with a major in electrical engineering from the American University of Beirut and an Executive MBA from ESCP Europe.
