Wael El Mandarawi is a Specialist Rotating Equipment Engineer at ADNOC Gas,
based in Abu Dhabi, with over 30 years of extensive experience in the field of
maintenance, projects, and engineering of rotating equipment. He serves as a
Technical Authority Level 3 (CTA3) and plays a key role in ensuring reliability,
performance optimization, and lifecycle management of critical assets across
ADNOC Gas operations. Throughout his career, Wael has developed deep expertise
in gas turbines, compressors, and condition monitoring systems, with particular focus
on AVON gas turbines. He has led numerous technical studies, root cause analyses,
and reliability improvement initiatives, contributing to enhanced asset availability and
operational excellence across major ADNOC sites.
Wael is actively engaged in digital transformation initiatives, including predictive
maintenance, centralized condition monitoring, and implementation of advanced
analytics to transition from time-based to condition-based maintenance strategies.
In addition to his engineering responsibilities, Wael contributes to knowledge sharing
