Rotating Consulting & Interface Manager
Mahmood Al Sinani currently serves as Interface Manager at OQ Exploration & Production (OQEP), leading interface management across multidisciplinary teams, projects, contractors, and key
stakeholders. In this role, he focuses on effective coordination, alignment, and collaboration to
ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
With 14 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, Mahmood brings extensive expertise in
rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, and mechanical engineering. Throughout his career, he
has held several technical and leadership positions, including Engineering Manager for Facilities
Expansion Projects and Commissioning Manager, contributing to major projects across engineering,
project execution, commissioning, and start-up.
Mahmood’s technical excellence and contribution to the rotating equipment industry were
recognized when he received the Best Technical Paper Award at the Middle Eastern Rotating
Equipment Technologies and Innovations Conference (RoTIC Symposium 2024) for outstanding
technical research and contribution to the field.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mahmood has actively contributed to the engineering
community as a Technical Committee Member for RoTIC UAE and a Technical Committee Member
within the Saudi technical community, supporting knowledge sharing, technical excellence, and the
advancement of engineering practices across the region.
His journey reflects a strong commitment to technical excellence, leadership, knowledge sharing, and
continuous improvement within the Oil & Gas and rotating equipment sectors.
