About Hagar Rabia

Hagar Rabia is an energy sector professional with 10+ years of experience in the gas business,
specializing in rotating equipment engineering and maintenance, alongside a focus on technology-
driven transformation and decarbonization. Currently a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer within
the Projects & Engineering function at ADNOC Gas, she contributes to technical and strategic
initiatives that advance production growth, operational excellence, innovation, and technology
deployment.

In her current role, Hagar provides technical responsibility and direction for critical rotating
equipment assets across both operating facilities and capital projects, supporting the full asset
lifecycle from development and execution through operation.

Hagar has a particular interest in bridging the gap between emerging technology and real-world
industrial deployment, ensuring that innovation delivers measurable value while remaining aligned
with asset requirements, operational realities, and long-term strategic objectives. She brings a
perspective shaped by both hands-on rotating equipment experience and strategic exposure,
focusing on how the industry can move beyond adopting technologies to successfully integrating
them into operations and creating sustainable business value.

Hagar holds an Executive Master of Management in Energy from BI Norwegian Business School,
alongside bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Khalifa University, UAE.
She is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Maintenance & Reliability
Professional (CMRP).
