Hani Elshemy is a seasoned mechanical engineer with a strong background in rotating equipment, particularly turbines and compressors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and has built a distinguished career through various technical and leadership roles across the industry. Hani began his career in plant maintenance before moving into a technical support (aftersales) position with a reputable compressor manufacturer, where he sharpened his technical expertise. He later transitioned into leadership roles with independent service providers, further expanding his scope and impact.
In his current role as Operations Manager AST Turbo, Hani leads a highly skilled team of field service engineers with a strong track record in servicing compressors and steam turbines from various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). He collaborates closely with customers in Saudi Arabia to drive business growth, address emergency overhaul requirements, and support planned turnaround activities – consistently ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
