Roy Sahadevan is Senior Specialist in rotating equipment at ADNOC Onshore, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He joined ADNOC in August 2015. Prior to this, Roy worked as a Technical Authority (Rotating Equipment) with Shell in Brunei, bringing over 30 years of industry experience.
Roy specializes in rotating equipment, providing technical support and assurance in design, modification, troubleshooting, risk assessment, and failure analysis of rotating equipment and systems.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, is a Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council UK, and is a member of IMechE. Additionally, he has served as a task force member of the American Petroleum Institute (API).
Roy has published and presented technical papers at international conferences, including ADIPEC and RoTIC. He presented at ROTIC in 2019, 2023, and 2024.
